Remembering my guiding light

 

Dad, you are the reason I exist. 

Your strength in facing life has been my inspiration, a light to guide me through my days. Though it has been over 8 years since you left, everything about you remains, as if you never truly left.

So much has happened since you've been gone, but I am sure you can see it all from above, watching over me from your new place, where Mom is now with you.

Rest peacefully. And thank you for the strong hands that once helped bring me into this world. My love for you is beyond words. I will hold this longing for you in my heart.
